Everyone has their own definition and perception of what love is. In the noun form, love is defined as "an intense feeling of deep affection". As a verb, love is defined as "to feel a deep romantic or sexual attachment to someone". I believe that love in general plays a huge role in the way we live our day to day lives. I also believe that love is something that we all very often taken for granted, even when we don't intend too. I've been with my boyfriend, Tyson, for five years now and I know sometimes I do take him for granted. We started dating my Senior year of high school after I already decided to continue my education at Pittsburg State University. Keep in mind we are both from a small town in Oklahoma and Pitt is three hours away from our house. Having a long distance relationship is very tough and we both have to work on it every single day to make it work. I do think however having going through this with him has made our relationship stronger and it makes us appreciate the time we have together more. Throughout these blogs, I will be explaining how we make this relationship work. I will also be talking about the different ways I've seen love thrive, the ways I've seen it fail and what the impact that had on those people. This may not be the most exciting blog to read and it also may be boring to most of you but it's something I'm good at talking about. I also think how my relationship works can be helpful to others to see things from a different point of view. I'm going to leave you with some pictures of Tyson and I and a link on some essentials to having a healthy relationship. http://www.joinonelove.org/healthy_relationship?gclid=CIWXr-P1r9QCFQKHaQodpHwNow
